Grand Rapids airport

Olivia here...We are finally ready to go! Bekah, Nate, Emily, and I are waiting in the Grand Rapids airport waiting for our flight. We take off at 11:56 am, however we might have a delay. We will be flying to Atlanta where we will meet the rest of the group from North America (their names are Niki, Stephanie, Mark, and Derek). From Atlanta we will be flying to Lagos, Nigeria, and then to Entebbe, Uganda.

Bekah here...We are anxiously waiting for our flight here in Grand Rapids, and we are facing the reality that we are probably going to be delayed here. We have a really tight schedule with our flights getting into Atlanta and leaving for Lagos, Nigeria. Actually, as I write this, it looks like the fun is beginning. Sounds like our flight from here in GR is delayed until 1:45pm, which puts us into Atlanta at 3:30pm. That doesn't work too well, since our flight to Lagos leaves at 3:00pm. Nate is talking to the lady at the desk trying to figure things out, but this could be interesting, which shouldn't surprise us since most things about this trip have been "interesting". The good thing is that Olivia, Emily, Nate, and I have plenty to keep us entertained, and worse comes to worse we will be staying the night in Atlanta (all 8 of us) and catching a new flight tomorrow. It will work out...this we're trusting.

Please keep us in your prayers...especially pray that our meeting up with the other high school students goes okay. We are especially concerned about the other high schoolers...that they aren't forced to go on to Lagos by themselves. We've heard that it isn't a great airport (safe), so we do not want a bunch of high schoolers there by themselves. Pray for safe travel and for united travel. Blessings all!
